About CHT

CHT Canada was created to challenge and inspire serious athletes who want to get to the next level with year-round on and off ice personalized training programs that you can only get at a pro level. We have experience at all levels of hockey and know what it takes to make it in such a competitive sport. As your hockey career evolves, you need consistent training year-round, and an all-encompassing program specific to your individual needs. If you think big, act big, dream big, and be honest in your approach, you can do anything. CHT will give you the steps to get where you want to go.

The difference CHT Canada offers is the connection between on-ice training and off-ice conditioning, and the dedication to a year-round program that delivers the best results. We assess your needs and formulate a program that will combine conditioning, drills, one-on-one motivation and coaching that will deliver immediate results and help you become the player you know you can be.

There are no shortcuts to success. Hard work – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually – is the only way to become a complete hockey player. Successful players are the ones who commit themselves to a consistent year-round program. CHT Canada will tailor that program to your needs and help you achieve your goals. Remember that if you want to be a pro, you had better start training like one NOW.

About the Founder

Jim Revenberg’s dream has always been to commit 100% to a "Complete Hockey Training" program to help young athletes develop their character, pursue their dreams, and pass onto them what he has been taught by the great coaches and players who have blessed his Hockey life.

Drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 1989, his first training camp was in Parksville, BC. Jim fell in love with the Island and always wanted to live here. In 2005, he came to Vancouver Island with his wife Anna, and the intention to find a place to raise their family. Anna and Jim immediately fell in love with the Northern part of the  island.

Jim has played at every level of hockey; minor hockey to junior A in Ontario; was drafted by the Peterborough Petes of the OHL in 1986; tried out for the Windsor Spitfires in 1987 and made it as a walk-on. The Spitfires made and broke over 40 Canadian Major Junior A records in the 87-88 season. They were also OHL Champs and memorial cup finalists in 1988 (sucks, they should have won). In 1989 Jim was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks – 5th choice, 7th round – and signed a 3 year contract. In 1989 he started in the top farm team Milwaukee Admirals of the IHL. Unfortunately, he sustained a career-ending injury the following season.

From 1991 to present Jim has coached minor hockey, Junior C and Junior B; been a guest coach and consultant to junior A teams; a motivational speaker for schools, businesses and charitable organizations; and a hockey instructor - on and off ice training since the age of 18. Most importantly, Jim has been a student of hockey his whole life.

After his hockey career, Jim was able apply what he learned from hockey to his new career in business. He loves being in a business world where a team atmosphere can be created to bring individual employees together with common goals and enthusiasm to beat industry competitors and smash records – LOTS of fun.

Jim is now behind the helm at CHT Canada, and creating a reputation in the athletic world for delivering results. He has proven that the fundamental concepts of hockey – teamwork, dedication, discipline, and hard work – apply to all aspects of life and takes pride in helping athletes achieve their potential.

In keeping with his commitment to player development at all levels, Jim purchased the Campbell River Storm Junior B Hockey Club early in 2009.
